Mini Review Monday: Garnier Moisture Bomb Mattifying Mask

Happy Monday beauties!

Today’s instalment of Mini Review Monday is reviewing one of Garnier’s new face masks.

A few months ago, Garnier introduced a new addition to their SkinActive line by including a Sheet Mask called the Moisture Bomb. The ads claimed it was made with pomegranate extract and hyaluronic acid. They also claimed that the mask contained a half bottle of serum per Mask.

Just a few weeks ago, they launched 2 new masks to the line, one with tea tree for mattifying and one with chamomile for soothing.

Anyone who knows me knows I love anything mattifying and with tea tree so I had to try it out – here are my thoughts:

URL: http://www.garnier.ca/en-ca/face-care/beauty/garnier/moisture-bomb/moisture-bomb-the-super-hydrating-sheet-mask

Price: ~$3.99 CAD (depending on where your purchase)

Where to purchase: Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart and most drugstores that sell Garnier.

Cons: Price, fit of the mask

Pros: Effectiveness

Do I recommend this? Yes!

I look like a murderer!

Overall, though this Sheet Mask is slightly more expensive than the usual $1 & $2 masks I usually pick up from The Face Shop, it’s great to see drugstore brands expanding to Sheet masks. This Sheet mask has a ton of essence/serum in it which I love, I slather all excess into my neck, chest and arms for extra moisture. The fit of the mask was terrible but most masks fit terribly anyway. I also did find it helped to keep my skin looking matte the next morning which is great! I love the original and now the mattifying, so I’m excited to try the soothing one next!

Have you tried these Garnier face masks?

Thanks for reading, remember you’re beautiful!
